Peter Eimer is the Chief Executive Officer of the Brothers of Mercy campus. His career began at the Brothers of Mercy in 2001 as the Foundation Director. In 2003 he also took on management of the finances of the Brothers Congregation. In 2010 he was named Chief Operating Officer of all the campus facilities and in 2016 was named Chief Executive Officer, becoming the first lay person to be named to that position.
Mr. Eimer has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BS from Canisius College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and began his career with KPMG. Following his work with KPMG, he worked as a Vice-President at Goldome, KeyCorp and M&T Bank and has 16 years of experience in banking.
Tom Bloomer is the administrator of the Brothers of Mercy Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility. Tom as been at Brothers since September 2014. His passion for serving others and seeing how an effective team can impact our patients and residents lives is what drives him each day.
Tom started his journey in healthcare with the Marriott Corporation back in 1998 as a Registered Dietitian. He then advanced his career working in various management and leadership positions with the Mohawk Valley Network and Orleans Community Health. Tom earned is Nursing Home Administration license through St. Joes College of Maine and worked as the administrator for Orleans Community Health-SNF before accepting a position at Brothers.
Nancy Gugino is the Executive Director of the Brothers of Mercy Foundation. Nancy began her career with the Brothers of Mercy in 2013 as the Administrator of the Senior Apartments. In 2015, she was asked to assume the role of Executive Director of the Foundation. In the first nine months as Director, she obtained a major gift from Russell J. Salvatore which will be used to build a brand new outpatient rehabilitation clinic on the Brothers of Mercy Campus.
In addition to her Foundation responsibilities, in the Fall of 2016, Nancy took on the role as Campus Business Development Director and in 2017 will be spearheading a Capitla Campaign for campus improvements and growth. Nancy is a graduarte of Cardinal O’Hara H.S. and Canisius College.
Marion Hummell is the administrator of the Brothers of Mercy Sacred Heart Home. Marion has worked in many positions in the geriatric setting since 1980. She has fulfilled care needs of this community as RN Director of nursing, Medicare/Medicaid manager, Quality indicator assessor, Hospice coordinator, assistant administrator and administrator. She joined the Brothers Of Mercy in 2006 and in 2008, joined the Sacred Heart Adult Home as the administrator.
Marion’s emphasis is on wellness care and minimizing clinical and cognitive decline when ever possible. Her administrative team offers SHH as a positive and comfortable life style change for our residents by embracing and promoting quality of life and daily enrichment.
Mary Baty is the administrator of the Brothers of Mercy Senior Apartments. Mary focuses on contributing to the betterment of life for seniors. Her experience with activities, sales, operations and administration are all centered on providing an enriching, safe and welcoming environment for the residents of Brothers of Mercy Independent Senior Apartments
Her volunteer work with WNY Heroes, a local Veteran’s outreach organization, has taught her the importance of recognizing that everyone has a unique life story. Hearing residents share their stories is her greatest reward.
Valerie Kane is the administrator at Montabaur Heights. Valerie began her career at the Brothers of Mercy in 1986 as Director of Food Services, and through the years has also worked at the Sacred Heart Home and Rehabilitation Center. She brings and extensive set of skills to her current position.
A graduate of Buffalo State College, Valerie started her career at age 16 serving seniors at Beechwood residence, and has served senior citizens and worked in the health care industry her entire a career. Valerie received the Top 50 Healthcare service award 2014.
