Clarence, NY- The Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus has achieved a deficiency-free survey from the New York State Department of Health.
Every year, the Department of Health (DOH) conducts a survey of all nursing homes. Since Covid-19 hit New York State in 2020, the DOH has been unable to conduct their full surveys. The Survey Team of 8 reviewed 3 years’ worth of medical records, observed the care and treatment of the residents/patients and interviewed team members over the course of 5 days.
A deficiency-free survey indicates that, during a center’s most recent state inspection, surveyors found zero deficiencies in care, services, or the environment. When a facility receives a deficiency-free state survey, it means you or your loved one can expect the highest level of care in the most favorable environment.
