Brothers of Mercy Home Care Services

In an ongoing effort to assist you and your loved ones every step of the way, the Brothers of Mercy is proud to announce the opening of our new Home Care Services program. We will work with you and your family to provide a safe, healthy and happier lifestyle – specifically designed to meet your needs and promote independence. We offer three levels of care options:

1. COMPANION CARE
Companion Care is a non-medical service we offer both on and off the Brothers of Mercy campus. Your Companion Care Aide (CCA) will be able to assist you with:
• Family respite care
• Light laundry and housekeeping
• Meal planning and preparation
• Medication reminders
• Assist with setting up appointments
• Promote personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Encourage and participate with activities
• Social and emotional support
• Transportation for appointments, errands, and shopping is available for a small fee.

2. PERSONAL CARE
Personal Care is a non-medical service we offer on the Brothers of Mercy campus. Your certified Personal Care Aide (PCA) will be able to assist you with:
• Family respite care
• Light laundry and housekeeping
• Meal planning and preparation
• Medication reminders
• Assist with setting up appointments
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming dressing, toileting, transferring and ambulation
• Encourage and participate with activities
• Social and emotional support
• Transportation for appointments, errands, and shopping is available for a small fee.

3. HOME HEALTH CARE
Home Health Care is a non-medical service we offer on the Brothers of Mercy campus. Your certified Home Health Aide (HHA) will be able to assist you with:
• Family respite care
• Assist with medication administration
• Light laundry and housekeeping
• Meal planning and preparation
• Assist with setting up appointments
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming dressing, toileting, transferring and ambulation
• Encourage and participate with activities
• Social and emotional support
• Transportation for appointments, errands, and shopping is available for a small fee.

NOTE: There is a two hour minimum for ALL Home Care Services.
