Outpatient Therapy Clients of the Month: Art & Lucille Lenskold

Joint therapy sessions gives a new meaning to growing old together!

How did you hear about our clinic?
We were on campus last year to enjoy the summer concert series and spoke to Brother Kenneth.I used to sit outside under the tree while Art had therapy last year and thought I could benefit from therapy too!

What made you choose The Brothers of Mercy for therapy?
L: After being at another therapy clinic, we wanted to try something different. I feel greater improvements would be made with increased attention during sessions.

Have you ever needed therapy services in the past? If yes, how has your experience been different at this clinic?
Yes, we have. Other therapy clinics are really crowded rooms and the therapists do not pay great attention to what people are doing while exercising. Here, the atmosphere is more comfortable. Demonstrations are provided to ensure understanding and the therapists correct form, if needed.

What advice would you give to someone who is unsure about starting a therapy program?
A: Get a referral and talk to your doctor about it.

L: Just try it. See how you like it. I’m sure a lot of people could improve their daily activities with a little exercise.

In a few words, how would you sum up your overall impression of the clinic’s atmosphere, the quality of therapy services you have received and the expertise of the staff?

A: Excellent expertise!

L: Everything is excellent as far as I’m concerned. The staff is professional and organized.
