The Brothers of Mercy is a nonprofit Catholic provider of comprehensive, compassionate residential, health care and rehabilitation services for Western New Yorkers. Located on Ransom Road near Main Street, the organization operates a Medicare-rated 5-star, 126-acre Wellness Campus. The Brothers of Mercy ministry of care features skilled nursing, inpatient & outpatient therapies, assisted living & memory care, independent living, spiritual care, respite, hospice and companion care.

Our Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center is a Medicare-rated 5-star care facility that is also a “Best Nursing Home” in Buffalo as selected by the U.S. News & World Report. Each employee is required to meet rigorous educational and professional standards to provide the best possible service for every individual. Maintaining independence is very important in the skilled nursing setting, and we are proud to offer physical, occupational and speech therapy for all residents.

Our innovative Assisted Living facility is comprise of six “Wellness Neighborhoods” designed to feel like home. Each neighborhood is home to 16 residents who enjoy comfort, community spaces and personal enrichment activities to help improve quality of life. The Memory Care wing features Dutch Doors for visibility and safety as well as circadian rhythm lighting that provide comfort for residents with dementia. There are also enclosed, secured courtyards for direct access to the outdoors.

The Russell J. Salvatore Outpatient Therapy Clinic provides rehabilitation services that help alleviate pain, discomfort and suffering. The clinic features physical, occupational and speech therapies in one convenient location with specializations in geriatrics, sports injuries and neurological disorders that optimize healing. Therapists optimize wellness, maintain effective function and preserve independence. Whether it is an injury, chronic condition or post-surgery rehab, everyone receives one-on-one appointments for 60 minutes in a comfortable setting to help them return to daily activities.

Montabaur Heights is a distinctive independent living option for seniors over 65. Surrounded by spacious lawns and bordered by wooded vistas, you will discover a magnificent lifestyle and enjoy a flexible chef-prepared meal plan created with your palate and your health in mind served in our elegant dining room. You can choose from a variety of amenities, activities and classes to keep you active and healthy. Our fitness center, exercise classes and walking paths will keep you moving, and we offer arts and crafts to keep your mind active.

The Trier Woods Apartments are situated on a quiet residential road near the Clarence Town Park and the Tillman Wildlife Management Area. The quiet suburban setting is only minutes from shopping, restaurants, churches, entertainment venues and the Clarence Senior Center. There are group activities, offered as well as laundry facilities, computer room, exercise equipment and Chapel with services. Choose from a single suite or double-occupancy apartments that include a large living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and eating area. Veterans always receive priority application review.
