At The Brothers of Mercy, our exclusive “Homeward Bound Program” is designed to achieve optimal results, return patients to their maximum level of normal activity possible and help patients return home quickly, safely, confident and as soon as possible.
We provide a number of rehab services to in-house patients. And now with our new Russell J. Salvatore Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic, we will be able to provide those services to individuals throughout the WNY region. Outpatient rehab programs allow you to continue to live at home during treatment. Our therapists provide and specialize in individual care.
Part of our orthopedic protocol, the Brothers of Mercy offers one of the largest and most progressive physical therapy programs in WNY. We help patients improve strength, movement, mobility, balance, and range of motion skills.
Part of our orthopedic protocol, occupational therapists help patients practice and improve the skills of daily living – including dressing, bathing, preparing and eating a meal, maintaining a home, and returning to normal living.

Our Neurologic rehab programs are designed to help individuals with diseases, trauma and disorders of the nervous system. We evaluate and measure your movement patterns, strength, flexibility, functional ability and balance.
As part of our neurologic protocol, the speech/language pathology staff serves those who face challenges that make it difficult to swallow (dysphagia), express oneself, or understand the spoken or written word.

Our specialized programs have been designed specifically to treat problems affecting the lungs and lung function including Asthma, Bronchitis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Emphysema, Pneumonia, Pulmonary Fibrosis and other lung or pulmonary issues.
Chronic wounds, such as diabetic ulcers, infections or severe inflammation, among others, require professional medical attention for proper treatment.
