How did you hear about our clinic?
I was a short term rehab patient for 2 ½ months following surgery and toured the clinic before I went home.
What made you choose The Brothers of Mercy for therapy?
It’s a convenient location for me, as my home is not far away. The quality of care I received from the inpatient therapy team was excellent so I felt the outpatient care would be similar.
Have you ever needed therapy services in the past? If yes, how has your experience been different at this clinic?
Yes, I’ve been to about 5 different therapy clinics throughout the years. This is by far the best. I know when I come here I’m going to get a full hour of attention and work. Other places see 2-3 clients at a time. I often started exercises by myself and waited for the therapist to catch up with me. Not here…the therapists are not only working directly with you but providing challenges to help you keep progressing.
What advice would you give to someone who is unsure about starting a therapy program?
I would say ‘don’t hesitate.’ Find a place that suits you best. You don’t realize it but you need the help and guidance. It’s all about having persistence to reach the goals you set for yourself.
How would you sum up your overall impression of the clinic’s atmosphere, the quality of therapy services you have received and the expertise of the staff?
One of the first impressions I got was that the staff seems happy. That sets the tone for the experience you are going to have. The therapists are willing to serve the clients and their needs. I was helped right from the car into the building when I needed it. I think the quality of therapy is great. I want to be worked and challenged in my PT sessions and they provide it. Throughout the course of my time here, I’ve been challenged and have been introduced to things I’ve never done before. Some places are good at some things but not others; I know I chose the right clinic for my specific needs.
