Outpatient Therapy Clinic Client of the Month: Donna Roehling

How did you hear about our clinic?
My therapist, John, recommended that I come to the outpatient therapy clinic while I was getting ready to leave inpatient therapy. I also have a friend who has been here before and enjoyed coming to therapy.

What made you choose Brothers of Mercy for therapy?
My husband and I have been to Brothers several times and got good care. My mother was here many years ago too! It’s also close to home, which makes transportation easier.

Have you ever needed therapy services in the past? If yes, how has your experience been different at this clinic?
I feel like The Brothers has a better program compared to other clinics I’ve been to. I like how things are explained to me when I have questions. The therapists understand my pain and accommodate when needed but also still push me to challenge myself in order to make progress.

What advice would you give to someone who is unsure about starting a therapy program? You will be happier and will notice improvements with some effort. The Brothers of Mercy is here to help you get close to your goals, if not meet them.

How would you sum up your overall impression of the clinic’s atmosphere, the quality of therapy services you have received and the expertise of the staff?
The atmosphere and staff are great. It’s clean and cheerful. I’m always greeted when I walk in and wished well when I leave. The quality of services are high…it’s painful at times, but I see improvements in myself. It’s a wonderful place to have therapy!
