Clarence, NY – The Sacred Heart Home Memory Care staff is hosting its first open house and educational presentation for the community on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. The assisted living care facility, which opened in December 2020, is located at 4526 Ransom Rd. in Clarence.
The Sacred Heart Home Memory Care community provides a “wellness neighborhood” setting that features private rooms, shared living and eating spaces, circadian lighting, personalized activity enrichment and enclosed courtyards for outdoor access.
The event is an opportunity for families in Western New York who have loved ones living with dementia to find out more about caregiving and their future care options to help improve quality of life, comfort and safety.
“The Sacred Heart Home care team is so dedicated to ensuring comfort and quality of life for all of our Memory Care residents,” said Mindee McDonald, RN, BSN, Administrator of Sacred Heart Home. “Our staff looks forward to meeting family members at the open house to answer any caregiving questions and help them navigate and plan for future transitions of care.”
The Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York will provide an education presentation to start the open house, followed by tours of the memory care residential suites and community living and dining area, meeting the care staff, music from Robin Grandin of Music to Remember, refreshments and prize drawings.
