The Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus has named Nancy Gugino as its new Executive Director of the Campus Foundation,

Gugino will lead all fundraising initiatives, including capital campaigns, donor cultivation, regional and national grants and special events, to support compassionate care for patients and residents on the 126-acre continuing care campus.

“We are very pleased to welcome Nancy back to lead our Campus Foundation, where she was so integral in its growth in her previous tenure here,” said Peter Eimer, CEO of The Brothers of Mercy Wellness Campus. “With her vast fundraising and business development experience, she will be an asset to expand the Foundation to sustain the five-star care for our patients and residents.”

For the past four years, she served as the Executive Director of The Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, leading the growth of assets from $60 million to $72 million.

Gugino returns to The Brothers of Mercy, where she worked from 2013 to 2021. She started as the Administrator for Trier Woods Independent Living Apartments, and then was promoted to Executive Director of the Foundation in 2015. She led the organization’s first capital campaign in 2017, surpassing the $3 million dollar goal, and also served as Director of Corporate Sales for the four facilities on the Campus.

A graduate of Canisius University with a bachelor of science in marketing, Gugino resides in Clarence.
