I have two daughters, a grand-daughter and a great-granddaughter.

Q: What are some of your earliest memories of the former Sacred Heart Home?
50 years ago, Brother Fidelis would come to my home on his bike to care for her father. Eventually her father moved into the nursing home. My husband Jim resided at the Skilled Nursing Home. When I moved into the former Sacred Heart Home, I would take the elevator to the basement and walk through the connecting tunnel to visit him.

There is more personal private space. I have my own kitchen, bathroom and walk-in shower. In the former Sacred Heart Home, those were shared amenities.

Q: What activities do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy watching TV, reading, playing games on my tablet, going to Rosary, walking around the campus when the weather is nice and going on bus trips!

Yes!

Having my own personal space and enjoying the view outside my window.

Q; Do you have a favorite memory from your years here on campus?
Being able to visit my husband Jim.

Q; What would you say about the quality of care and comfort you experience at Sacred Heart Home if a local family asked you about it and they were considering having a loved one come here for Assisted Living or Memory Care?
You will receive excellent care. If you need anything done, it is taken care of.
